DINNER – 55 Easy Recipes (Mama’s Legacy Series)

By Nancy N Wilson / Genre: Meals, Cookbooks / Rating: 4.4 out of 5 stars (17 reviews)

DINNER - 55 Easy Recipes (Mama's Legacy Series)

This first volume includes some of my personal favorites among the hundreds of recipes that I have collected over the years. Even though I was married for the first 20 years of my children’s lives, I always had to work – so there was never a lot of extra time for cooking. As a result, I was always on the lookout for recipes that were easy to prepare in the shortest amount of time possible and at a cost that would allow me to stay within my budget.

I have other recipes that are more complicated, but I wanted to begin with the easier family favorites that met the above criteria. Most of the recipes in this volume range from very easy to easy, with only a few that are slightly more difficult.

Try them all! To start I recommend some of the quick and easy ones: Balsamic Pork Chops, Carne Asada, Linguini with Clam Sauce, Baked Mac and Cheese Casserole.

Find the ones you love to prepare and the ones your family enjoys the most. Enjoy this new cooking adventure!

I THINK IT’S A ROCK (rhyming, bedtime, fun, children, kids, short, stories)

By Peter Collier / Genre: Children’s eBooks / Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars (11 reviews)

I THINK IT'S A ROCK (rhyming, bedtime, fun, children, kids, short, stories)

This was my very first story written for children. It is written for a younger (3-4)age group. I feel more comfortable writing for older children, but that doesn’t mean it is any less amusing, plus it holds all the values of what I believe a bedtime story should include. When constructed in free unrestricted rhyme, while reading along, children quickly begin to retain portions of each story.
Once the child begins reading independently, these stories act as memory assisting templates to guide the beginning reader through their first reading selections.
The reading successes of a child will fuel additional comprehension activities and help to jump start reading skills that greatly motivate the young reader. The length of this story is designed to be between 5-10 minutes, to act as a short break or bedtime activity.
